Cotter Family Gathering Center, located in Wrightstown, Wisconsin, is a family-owned event venue bringing people together to celebrate life’s special moments. The Cotter family opened the center in 2024, after owning and managing funeral homes since the 1960s. Matt Cotter is a third-generation director of Cotter Funeral Home, joining the family business in 2012. Matt and his mother, JoAnn, manage Cotter Family Gathering Center. Their helpfulness and hospitality extend to both the event center and to Cotter Funeral & Cremation Care in Denmark and Green Bay. Wrightstown Event Venue Opened in 2024
The Cotter family has been a part of the Wrightstown community since 1990. From 1990 to 2020, the Cotters managed a funeral home in the village. This facility, dating back to the 1930s, was out-of-date. It was razed in 2020. Instead of rebuilding a funeral home in downtown Wrightstown, the Cotter family built a more versatile event venue easily accessible from Highway 96. Cotter Family Gathering Center opened in summer 2024. Immediately after it opened, members of the Wrightstown and Greenleaf communities reserved the event venue for their special celebrations.
Versatile Setting for Celebrations & Meetings
Although the Cotter Family Gathering Center hosts the occasional funeral, the event space offers the flexibility and versatility for many different types of celebrations and meetings. The facility features a large area with a seating capacity of 170 that can be divided into two rooms. Additionally, an executive conference room accommodates 30 guests and has an adjacent, private restroom. The commercial kitchen has a separate entrance for delivery, and there’s a kids’ playroom, too.
